Edgar Contreras

Edgar Contreras has extensive experience in IT security and support, with a career spanning multiple roles and organizations since 1997. Notably, at iON United Inc., Edgar held positions as an IT Security Specialist and Team Lead, focusing on endpoint security, virtual workstation administration, team communication improvements, and documentation standards. Edgar contributed to project management and internal support processes, while also fostering technical training and safety compliance. Prior positions included IT Analyst at Agrium and Technical Specialist at Metafore, where Edgar was involved in desktop enterprise solutions and user account management respectively. Currently, as a Senior Consultant at EY, Edgar develops incident response playbooks and provides mentorship to team members. Edgar holds a degree in Computer Technology from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology.
