Irene Charitou

Irene Charitou is an Associate Director at EY, specializing in Brand, Marketing, and Communications. With a dynamic 30-year career across the banking and professional service sectors, they have demonstrated expertise in strategic oversight, problem-solving, and project management. Previously, Irene led the Marketing & Products Division at Alpha Bank Cyprus and served as Head of Business Development and Marketing for EY Cyprus. They are also a board member of both the Centre for Sustainable Peace and Democratic Development and ICC Cyprus Women, advocating for diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace. Irene holds a Master’s degree in Finance from the University of Cambridge and a Bachelor’s degree in Economic Theory from The American University.
