Michael Cook

Michael Cook is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in organizational transformation and social responsibility. Currently a Partner at EY since October 2018, Cook leads impactful CSR initiatives and supports clients in navigating transformation within their organizations. Previous roles include Director in People Advisory Services at EY, Transformation Director at Kier Group, and Head of Transformation at Thames Water, where significant improvements to essential service reliability were achieved. Cook served as a member of the Advisory Board for the EPSRC Grand Challenge: Self Repairing Cities, focusing on innovative maintenance solutions for utility assets. Early career experience includes positions at KPMG UK and the UK Ministry of Defence, where Cook demonstrated leadership in risk management and cultural change. Educational qualifications include an MA in Russian Politics from UCL and a BA in History and Politics from the University of Essex.
