Michelle Gapes is the Director of Reward, People Advisory Services at EY, where they lead talent and reward projects to help organizations attract and retain key talent. With 20 years of experience in remuneration and reward advisory, Michelle has managed numerous projects, including one of Aotearoa’s largest remuneration frameworks affecting 10,000 employees. Previously, they held senior roles at Strategic Pay Limited and ANZ, and have contributed to the HR community through various leadership positions, including Vice-President of the HRNZ Auckland Branch Committee. Michelle earned a BSc in Statistics from the University of Auckland and has continued to enhance their expertise through additional education in remuneration practices.
