Richard Norman

Richard Norman is an Indirect Tax Partner at EY, bringing over sixteen years of experience specializing in indirect tax and transfer pricing within the energy industry. They qualified as a Chartered Tax Adviser and Chartered Accountant in 2008 and have held significant positions at firms including EDF Trading and KPMG. At EDF Trading, Norman oversaw indirect tax and transfer pricing, advising senior management on tax implications for M&A activities. As Chair of the EPITF, they collaborate with leading energy companies to advocate for the industry's interests to UK and EU tax authorities. Additionally, Norman authored the indirect tax chapter in "United Kingdom Oil and Gas Law," published by Sweet & Maxwell.
