Jonathan Mooney has a diverse work experience, starting in 1997 as the Co-Founder and President Emeritus of Eye to Eye National. Jonathan later worked as a Founder and CEO at Streetcraft LA and a Strategic Advisor at Youth Radio. In 2007, they founded The Urban Teacher Fellowship at The David and Lucile Packard Foundation. Jonathan also worked at HBO as a Senior Consultant and at PromaxBDA as the Co-Founder of the Promo Pathway. Jonathan held the role of Strategic Advisor at the City of Santa Monica and later became the Senior Strategist at the UCLA Center for Healthier Children, Families & Communities. Currently, they serve as the Chief Social Impact Officer and Partner at coParenter.

Jonathan Mooney attended Brown University from 1997 to 2000, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Literature.

Eye to Eye National

Eye to Eye is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the educational experiences and outcomes of students with learning and attention differences. Our near-peer mentoring program focuses on pairing middle school or high school/college students in an art room setting. Eye to Eye's in-person curriculum emphasizes critical social-emotional skills like metacognition and self-esteem, giving students self-awareness and confidence, traits that drive academic and life success. This spring, Eye to Eye will be launching a club-based model for high school and college students to promote community, advocacy, and leadership, as well as professional learning workshops for educators to help them best support their students in the classroom.
