Camela Pastorius, CMP, has over 20 years of experience in the events and meetings industry. Camela currently holds the position of Vice President, Meetings and Events at Bryn Mawr Communications Group, where they have been since 2018. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Medical Education and Program Development at the same company. In 2017, Camela held the role of Vice President, Meetings & Events at Avenue Live.

Before joining Avenue Live, they worked at Pennsylvania Bio as the Director of Programs from 2015 to 2016. During their time at Pennsylvania Bio, Camela successfully managed large-scale programs and achieved significant financial success.

From 2014 to 2015, they were the Director of Accounts at Expo Logic, where they demonstrated their expertise in account management. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Conference Solutions and Operations Manager at Compass Group from 2011 to 2014.

Camela's career also includes notable roles at Pfizer (formerly Wyeth) and the Drug Information Association. At Pfizer, they held positions such as Conference Center Coordinator and Meeting Planner, where they displayed their exceptional event planning and management skills. At the Drug Information Association, they served as a Senior Meeting Manager, responsible for program development and execution of up to 20 meetings annually.

Camela'searliest experience in the industry was as a Sales Representative at Marriott Corporation from 1995 to 1997.

Camela Pastorius, CMP pursued their education at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Management. Following this, in 2012, they attended Villanova University to study Principles of Fundraising. Additionally, Camela obtained the Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) certification from the Events Industry Council in January 2003.
