Scott Hanscom

Scott Hanscom is an experienced professional in the optical and healthcare fields, currently serving as an Ophthalmic Technician at Eyecare Medical Group since March 2023. Previously, Scott held diverse roles at Maine Eye Center from March 2010 to February 2023, including Optical Manager and Certified Optician/Contact Lens Technician, managing the Satellite Optical Shop. Additionally, Scott contributed to the Alliance for Responsible Communities in various capacities, including fundraising, web design, and communications, during service as an Americorps member from 2009 to 2010. Experience also includes a position as Store Manager at Sunglass Hut with Luxottica Retail from April 2004 to August 2007, and serving as Education Center Coordinator within the Portland Housing Authority from September 2002 to September 2003. Education includes an MBA and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Husson University, complemented by studies at Mt. San Jacinto College and Southern Maine Community College.
