Dennis Murphy

Dennis Murphy, CPA has over 30 years of work experience in accounting and finance. Dennis is currently the Director - Technical Accounting at EyeCare Partners. Prior to this, they worked at Cigna Global Health Benefits in various roles such as Senior Governance Manager, Global Controller, and Accounting Manager. At Cigna, Dennis provided leadership, oversaw compliance, managed auditors, and consulted on KPI tracking. Before Cigna, they served as the Director of Financial Reporting at AiIG Marketing and AVP Finance at ACE Financial Solutions. Dennis also held positions at ACE USA, Penn Mutual, Price Waterhousecoopers, Reliance Standard, and General Accident Insurance Company. Throughout their career, Dennis has demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, analysis, process improvement, and team management.

Dennis Murphy, CPA, pursued their education in accounting at Temple University from 1985 to 1989, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree. This degree focused on the field of study in accounting. In addition to their initial education, Dennis Murphy also obtained additional certifications in May 2021. These certifications include "Scrum: The Basics" and "Transitioning from Waterfall to Agile Project Management," both obtained through LinkedIn.
