Robert Folberg

Robert Folberg currently serves as the Vice President of Education at EyeCare Partners, a position held since October 2022. With an extensive academic background, Robert has been a Professor of Ophthalmology and Pathology at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine since September 2008, where Robert also holds the title of Stephan Sharf Founding Dean. Additional roles include Vice Dean of Medical Education at Wayne State University School of Medicine for a brief tenure, and Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. Previous leadership experience encompasses Chief Academic Officer at William Beaumont Hospital and Head of the Department of Pathology at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Robert initiated a distinguished career at the University of Iowa as the FC Blodi Professor. Educational credentials include an MD from Temple University - Lewis Katz School of Medicine and a BA in Biology from LaSalle University.
