Rajesh Tirumala

Manager - Software Applications at eyeLock

Rajesh Tirumala has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Rajesh started their career in 1998 as a Software Engineer at Ceeyes Software Technologies, where they worked on developing a high availability/loadbalancing product using TCP/IP, C, and RTOS. Rajesh also designed and developed a CLI for organizing VLANs in the system.

In 2000, Rajesh joined Lucent Technologies as a Software Engineer and was involved in designing and developing OA&M software for various cards of BTS. Rajesh also worked on developing the basic system redundancy through Network memory cards and participated in integration testing of UMTS protocols.

From 2004 to 2013, Rajesh worked at SeaChange International as a Sr Software Engineer. Rajesh was responsible for designing, implementing, and system testing various features for the DVD on Demand product. Rajesh also played a crucial role in integrating VODlink with Motorola, Cisco, Amino set-tops, and Microsoft FE platform.

In 2013, Rajesh joined Comcast Cable as a Consultant for a brief period before transitioning to Eyelock, where they served as a Manager - Software Applications. In this role, they managed a team of developers and offshore development teams. Rajesh was actively involved in developing and sustaining Eyelock's Iris based biometric devices. Rajesh also provided support to globally distributed customers, including custom integrations. Notably, they played a significant role in developing a next-generation product based on ARM-based logicPD boards running Linux from scratch.

Rajesh Tirumala received their Diploma in Electronics and Communications Engineering (Polytechnic) from the Government Institute of Electronics in Hyderabad between 1989 and 1993. Rajesh then pursued a Bachelor's degree in ECE (Electronics and Communications Engineering) at Osmania University from 1994 to 1997. Later, in 2008, Rajesh enrolled at Devry/Kellar School of Management to pursue an MBA, but the end year for their MBA program was not provided.
