Alan Hill

Alan Hill has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Alan started their career as a Business Manager at 3M Health Care, where they held various roles including Production Manager and Technical Sales roles. Alan then moved on to Remploy Ltd, where they served as the Managing Director and Director of Product Businesses. During their time at Remploy, they were responsible for overseeing multiple national businesses, managing 40 factories and 2,500 employees, and generating sales of £70m. In 2013, Alan became the CEO of LaunchUSA, assisting companies in setting up operations in the USA. Alan provided support in areas such as HR, accounting, relocation, and market entry. Alan also worked as a Dealmaker for UK Trade & Investment (UKTI), helping entrepreneurs establish the UK as their global operations hub. From 2011 to 2015, they served as the Non-Executive Chair at Duraweld Ltd. Currently, Alan is the Head of International Commercial Operations at Eyenuk, Inc., an Artificial Intelligence Software Medical Device company.

Alan Hill completed a BSc in Chemical Engineering from Swansea University between 1979 and 1982. Alan then pursued an MBA from Aston University from 1989 to 1993. In 2012, Alan attended Cranfield School of Management to study Strategic Leadership. Additionally, they have also attended the Institute of Directors (IoD), but no specific time frame was provided.
