Christy Coyne began their career in 1997 as a Biomedical Engineer for Cleveland Medical Devices, Inc. Christy then moved to Ernst & Young in the same year, followed by a role as a Neuroscience Hospital Specialty Sales at Eli Lilly and Company in 2001. In 2004, they joined Allergan as a Senior Account Manager - Retina. In 2012, Christy became a Capital Equipment Account Manager - Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky for Optos, where they focused on sales of ultra wide-field retina imaging equipment. In 2015, they joined Alimera Sciences as a Regional Sales Director - Retina Central U.S., leading a team of 8 Clinical Account Specialists in a 17 state region. Christy was also a Clinical Account Specialist - OH, PA, WV during their time there. In 2018, Christy moved to Kala Pharmaceuticals as a Regional Sales Manager and is currently a Sales Director at Eyenuk, Inc., where they are responsible for U.S. Sales of EyeArt, an FDA cleared AI technology for autonomous detection of both more than mild and vision-threatening diabetic retinopathy.

Christy Coyne has a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University and a high school diploma from Gahanna Lincoln High School. Christy has also obtained certifications from LinkedIn in Nano Tips for Communicating with Confidence with Selena Rezvani and Becoming an Impactful and Influential Leader. Additionally, they hold a US Sailing Keelboat Certification for Basic Keelboat Sailing from the Swain School of Sailing Virgin Islands, as well as an Open Water Diver certification from PADI.
