Andrea Bauer

Andrea Bauer, Ph.D. RAC, currently serves as Vice President of CMC at EyePoint Pharmaceuticals, a role commenced in September 2024. Prior to this position, Andrea was the Senior Director of Drug Product Development at Scorpion Therapeutics from January 2023 to September 2024. Andrea's extensive experience includes serving on the Board of Directors at the International Pharmaceutical Aerosol Consortium on Regulation & Science (IPAC-RS) from September 2012 to January 2023 and participating in the IQ Consortium’s DPLG and Working Groups during the same period. Andrea's earlier role was as Head of Formulation Development and Senior Director at Sunovion Pharmaceuticals, where responsibilities encompassed the formulation, process development, and tech transfer for various drug delivery systems. Starting the career as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Boehringer Ingelheim, Andrea holds a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics and a Bachelor of Pharmacy from the University of Munich, Germany.
