Joseph Clements

Joseph Clements has extensive experience in quality control and laboratory management. Joseph is currently the Director of Quality Control at EyePoint Pharmaceuticals since November 2020. Previously, they worked at Tetraphase Pharmaceuticals as the Associate Director of Quality Control and then as the Senior Quality Control Manager from December 2017 to September 2020. Before that, they served as the Quality Control Laboratory Manager at Aspen Aerogels from August 2016 to December 2017. Joseph also has a significant tenure at Pharmalucence, where they held the positions of Quality Control Chemistry Manager and Senior Analytical Chemist from December 2010 to July 2016. Joseph started their career at Johnson Matthey Pharma Services as a QC Supervisor from November 2007 to December 2010. Prior to that, they worked as the Inorganic Chemistry Manager at Alpha Analytical from September 1990 to February 2006.

Joseph Clements earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Northeastern University, which they attended from 1980 to 1995. Prior to that, they obtained a high school diploma from Ipswich High School.
