Andy Friess has worked in a variety of roles in the marketing, product development, and operations fields. Andy began their career in 2000 as the Manager of Merchandising & Promotion at Fiskars. In 2001, they worked as the Show Operations Manager at Krause Publications. From 2002 to 2005, they worked at Hasbro, where they held two positions, Product Manager - Boys Exclusives and Trade Marketing Manager - First Fun. From 2005 to 2018, they worked at Toy State International Limited, where they held four positions, SVP - Global Marketing and Licensing & US Operations, Vice President, Marketing / SVP, Marketing & GM - US Operations, Director, Marketing & Product Development / Senior Director, Marketing & Licensing, and Marketing Manager. From 2018 to 2020, they were the Marketing & Licensing Consultant at Friess Marketing Group (FMG). In 2021, they were the President - North America at eyes3 Sports Technology. Andy is currently the Founder / Co-Owner of Tri-Boro Diamond Sports Academy, a place for indoor training for baseball and softball players of all ages.
Andy Friess obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration/Marketing from Saint Xavier University.
