Ignacio Foche Pérez has a diverse work experience in the field of software development and research. Ignacio started their career at Carlos III de Madrid University as a scholar. Ignacio then worked at EHAS Foundation as a system admin, software developer, and hardware tester. After that, they joined Rey Juan Carlos University as a researcher and software developer, where they implemented R&D projects, conducted ICT projects in the developing world, and also had teaching and hardware development responsibilities.
Following this, Ignacio worked at the National Center of Biotechnology (CNB) - CSIC as a software developer, particularly in the field of image processing for electron microscopy. There, they contributed to the development of the Xmipp suite by improving installation mechanisms, user interfaces, project management, and code optimization.
Currently, Ignacio is working at EyeSeeTea LTD as a software developer and director, leading projects in multiplatform software development, data analysis, and design of telecommunications and sensor networks. Most of the projects are closely related to DHIS2, a Health Information System software.
Ignacio Foche Pérez obtained a Bachelor's degree in Telematics Engineering from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid between the years 2005 and 2009. Later, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Telecommunication Networks for the developing world from Universidad Rey Juan Carlos from 2008 to 2010.
