Evie Seifu

Evie Seifu has a long and varied work experience in the fashion industry. Evie began their career in 1992 as a Designer at G Mafia Streetwear. In 1993, they worked as a Junior, Contemporary Designer at Rampage Clothing Co., as well as a Production Co-ordinator at Chorus Line. Evie then moved to Kaotic in 1995 as a Designer/Principal. In 1996, they were a Junior Sportswear Designer at Bisou Bisou, where they successfully started a new junior division and created fresh and forward lines. In 1997, they became a Surf/Streetwear Designer at Body Code International, designing and developing fabrics and collections in Sleepwear, Sportswear and Outerwear. From 2000 to 2009, they were the Designer/Owner at Art District by Evie Seifu, creating Women's contemporary clothing with an emphasis on treatments ranging from hand painting to tie-dye and batiks. From 2009 to 2011, they were a Designer Freelance at Klein + lu. Since 2011, they have been the Owner & Co-Founder of Eyewear Insight, an online store that sells affordable yet quality prescription eyeglasses. In this role, they focus on making available a collection of glasses and managing many aspects of marketing, including Social Media and SEM/SEO. Evie also manages and monitors web development teams and Social Media accounts.

Evie Seifu attended Wade College from 1986 to 1987, where they obtained a degree in Fine Arts with a focus in Merchandising and Design. Prior to that, they attended Sandford English School from 1977 to 1985, where they obtained their High School degree.
