Mikal Villa

Mikal Villa has a diverse work experience in the field of technology. Mikal started their career as a System Consultant and Developer apprentice at Møre og Romsdal fylkeskommune in 2007. Mikal then worked as a System Consultant and Developer at Teknograd from 2010 to 2012, where they gained experience in PHP and system administration.

In 2012, Mikal joined Kloner AS as a System Consultant and Developer. In addition to working with Joomla, Magento, and Zen-Cart, they also undertook more advanced tasks in .NET, Assembly, and web page pentesting.

From 2016 to 2020, Mikal worked at Knowit Objectnet AS as a Full Stack Developer. Mikal was initially hired as a senior developer but eventually focused on their passion for security and system/platform architecture.

In 2017, Mikal served as the CTO at Mirai Technologies AS before joining The Invisible Internet Project in 2018 as a Core Developer and System Architect. Mikal held this position until 2020.

In 2020, Mikal had two work experiences. Mikal worked as a Consultant and Security Expert at Redpill Linpro, a provider of professional Open Source services and products. Mikal also worked as a DevSecOps Engineer at Eyr Medical.

Mikal Villa began their education journey in 2005 at Akademiet, where they obtained a degree in Learning basic IT, focusing on developing their basic computer skills. After completing their studies at Akademiet in 2006, they pursued their higher education at Ålesund University College (HiÅ) from 2010 to 2011. Here, they earned a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Computer Programming, further augmenting their knowledge and expertise in this field.
