Michael B. Shapiro has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Michael B. has held various leadership roles throughout their career.

In 1983, Shapiro founded Third Coast Group, a management consulting firm that assisted business clients with growth management. Some of their notable clients included Alkusari Stone, CompUSA, Power Computing, Motorola, and Dell Computer. Michael B. remained with the company until September 2013.

From 1999 to 2004, Shapiro served as the General Partner of Global Seed Fund, LLC, a venture capital entity that provided growth-oriented investments to start-up and middle-market companies. The fund focused on companies with innovative technologies that needed resources to bring their products to market.

In 2001, Shapiro took on the role of Acting President at Digital Research, Inc., a supplier of computer hardware products. Michael B. served in this capacity until July 2003.

From 2004 to 2007, Shapiro was a Founding Partner of Carpal Tunnel Clinic's of America, a franchise concept for neurologists specializing in carpal tunnel syndrome. The clinic provided marketing, office systems, and management consulting to physicians to increase profitability and focus.

From 2005 to 2012, Shapiro served as the CEO of Alliance Medical Ventures, LLC, a company that provided practice management services to Texas neurologists. The company also played a role in the development of the Westlake Hospital MRI and Sleep Lab operations.

In 2009, Shapiro took on two concurrent roles. Michael B. became the Vice President of Professional Civil Process, Inc., the largest legal support and process serving company in Texas. Additionally, they became the Managing Partner of Collins Receivables, LLC, a private investor-backed fund that purchased and managed debt assets.

In 2010, Shapiro served as a Board Member of Global Restaurant Systems, Inc. until February 2013.

Since September 2013, Shapiro has been the Chief Executive Officer of EZ-Messenger, a company providing legal services to attorneys nationwide. Michael B. led the acquisition of the company in 2014 and assumed the role of CEO.

From 1973 to 1976, Michael B. Shapiro attended Texas A&M University, where they pursued a degree in Electronic Technology with a focus on Microprocessor Design.
