Experimental Factory of Scientific Engineering with Special Design Department (EZAN) is a Federal State Unitary Enterprise as part of the Russian Academy of Science.

The enterprise was established in 1973 in order to provide the scientific and research institutes of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR and other organizations with highly sophisticated equipment and instruments.

The factory was specialized in production of high-vacuum systems, instruments for investigation of structure and chemical analysis of materials, as well as automation and data processing equipment. 

At the present time, EZAN produces a wide range of equipment for science, industry, telecommunications, transport and energetics.

    Development and production of analytical instruments and equipment for the unique high-end technologies
    Development and production of digital telecommunications equipment
    Development and production of software and hardware for creation of automation systems and technological processes monitoring systems
    Development of modern distributed control systems, embedded systems and real-time systems
    Development and production of special purpose equipment
    Development and production of mechanical structures of the 19" standard
