Josh Steiner

Josh Steiner is a Principal Software Engineer and Engineering Manager at ezCater since June 2020, where previously worked as a Staff Software Engineer. Experience includes serving as the first engineer at Consider, leading the development of web, desktop, and mobile features, and managing user experience initiatives. At thoughtbot, inc., from 2013 to 2017, Josh led high-quality Rails and JavaScript applications, co-authored Testing Rails, and contributed to the ExMachina Elixir library. Additional roles include Product Manager at FormKeep, leading product vision and operations, and Instructor at Metis New Economy Skills Training, where curriculum for Rails bootcamps was co-written. Early experience encompasses internships and apprenticeships at organizations including Agora Games and thoughtbot, inc. Josh holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, earned in 2013.
