Mark Samuel has a long and varied work experience in the consumer electronics industry. Mark began their career in 1991 at Sony as a Model Leader/Program Manager. In 1996, they moved to Philips Semiconductors in Sunnyvale, CA, where they held the positions of Director of Marketing for HDTV and Set-Top Box Business and International Product Marketing Manager for the Analog TV Business. In 2003, they took on the role of Director of Marketing/Location Manager at Philips Semiconductors Singapore. In 2004, they moved to NXP Semiconductors, where they held the roles of Vice President of Cable and IP STB Business, VP and General Manager of the Consumer Business Unit Home, Americas, Senior Director of Telco & Operator Business, and Director of Business Development. In 2010, they moved to Trident Microsystems as Senior Vice President and General Manager. In 2012, they moved to Entropic Communications as Senior Vice President and General Manager. In 2013, they became CEO and Co-Founder of ZapperBox. In 2014, they became COO and Executive Vice President of Savant Systems. In 2017, they became Chief Revenue Officer of Cirrent. Finally, in 2018, they became CEO of eZLO Innovation, a leader in the development of Consumer based smart solutions for homes and businesses.
Mark Samuel attended Swansea Metropolitan University in the U.K. from 1987 to 1990, where they earned a Diploma in Electrical and Microelectronic Engineering.
