Alberto Cortés Villena

Alberto Cortés Villena has extensive work experience in the energy sector. Alberto began their career in 2005 as a Strategy Analyst with Siliken S.A., where they were later promoted to R&D Director. In this role, they were responsible for coordinating the startup of projects, deciding the strategy, working teams, budget and planning. In 2011, they moved to SunEdison as a Channel Services Manager EMEA & LATAM for RSC (Residential & Small Commercial). In this role, they developed an innovative product line, value-added tools and services, and processes for technical support and training. In 2013, they became the CEO of ezzingSolar. In 2018, they co-founded SunNomads.

Alberto Cortés Villena obtained their MBA from ESIC Business & Marketing School in 2009. From 1999 to 2006, they studied Ingeniero Industrial at Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), specializing in Automática y electrónica. Alberto also obtained a double degree from CentraleSupélec in 2003-2005, specializing in Sistemas automáticos.
