Omar Albedwehy

Omar Albedwehy, PhD, is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in corporate finance and economic research. Currently serving as the Corporate Finance- FP&A Executive Manager at Al Ezz Dekheila Steel Co. EZDK since March 2025, Omar has held various positions at EZZSTEEL since April 2004, including Corporate Finance Executive Manager, Corporate Treasury Manager, and Economist. Additionally, Omar contributed to the International Budget Project as an IBP Researcher from 2006 to 2010. Omar's academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy in Economics and a Master of Science in Economics, both obtained from the Faculty of Economics and Political Science at Cairo University, along with a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the same institution.
