Colton Dixon serves as the F-35 Mission Effectiveness Lead at the F-35 Joint Program Office since October 2023, previously holding the role of F-35 Mission Effectiveness Deputy from September 2016 to April 2024. Prior experience includes serving as the F-35 Survivability & Verification Lead for the US Navy from April 2015 to September 2016 and a distinguished career in the United States Air Force from August 2003 to May 2015, with positions as an F-35 Subject Matter Expert, Instructor Pilot, and Weapons Integration Engineer. Colton's early career includes a role as a Performance and Emissions Engineer at Ricardo from January 2003 to August 2003. Educational achievements consist of two Bachelor's degrees from West Virginia University in Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering, supplemented by advanced training at MAWTS-1 USMC Weapons School, USN Fighter Weapons School TOPGUN, and USN Strike Fighter Weapons School Pacific Short Course.
