Mona Wheeler

Mona Wheeler serves as the Deputy Program Manager for Training Systems & Simulation within the F-35 Joint Program Office since August 2021. With extensive experience in program management and acquisition, Mona has held various roles including Program Manager at Kessel Run and the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, where responsibilities included leading Agile development teams and serving as a point of contact for inter-agency collaboration. Prior positions include Deputy Program Manager at C2AOS-C2IS and Deputy Chief of the Integration Branch at the Defense Threat Reduction Agency, overseeing critical defense programs. Educational qualifications include an MBA from The George Washington University School of Business, participation in the LCELP at the University of North Carolina, and a Master of Education from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
