Alex Ponce

Alex Ponce has a diverse work experience in the field of coaching and soccer. Alex started their career in 2002 as the Head Coach for Hood River Dynamos. Later, they worked as a Front Desk Agent at Guesthouse Inn and Suites from 2010 to 2016. From 2010 to 2012, they also served as a Girls Varsity Soccer Assistant Coach at Rex Putnam High School. In 2013, they became the Girls Varsity Soccer Head Coach at the same school, a position they held until 2017.

In 2014, Alex joined F.C. Portland Academy as the Boys Assistant Coach, before becoming the Boys Head Coach/Group Coordinator in 2016. In 2023, they took on the role of Assistant Director of Coaching/College Recruiting Coordinator at the same academy.

In 2017, Alex became the Men's Soccer Assistant Coach at Linfield College. In 2020, they joined the Portland Timbers as the Head Coach of the Regional Training Center and later became the Assistant Coach for the Boys ODP Squad.

In 2022, Alex also started working as the Oregon ODP Boys Head Coach at the Oregon Youth Soccer Association. The exact end dates for some of their roles are not provided.
