Steven N. Violin

Principal, Portfolio Manager at FLP

Mr. Violin, a CFA® charterholder, is responsible for management of the firm’s ESG Core US Equity Strategy. Mr. Violin provides support to the firm-wide investment process, including fundamental and ESG research.

Steven joined F.L.Putnam in 2000 as an investment analyst after graduating from Colgate University with an AB in Mathematical Economics with honors. While focused on investment research at the firm, Steven received his MS in Investment Management from Boston University, where he graduated with high honors as valedictorian of his class in 2002. He earned his CFA® Charter the following year. Since that time, Steven has served in various roles within the firm with a primary focus on equity portfolio management.

Steven is involved with several charitable and community organizations focused on healthcare and land conservation. He currently serves as president of Upper Charles Conservation Land Trust, and is a member of the Finance and Investment Committees of Notre Dame Health Care Center.
