Alp Artar

Alp Artar is a seasoned engineering leader and technical expert with extensive experience in software engineering and management. Presently serving as a Member of Technical Staff at F2 since September 2025, Alp previously held the position of Head of Engineering at Arc from February 2023 to September 2025 and was a Software Engineer at Notion from November 2021 to February 2023. Prior to these roles, Alp contributed as a Software Engineering Manager at LinkedIn from January 2018 to December 2021, where responsibilities included founding the Skills-based hiring engineering team focused on Skill Assessments. Alp co-founded scorebeyond, an edTech company known for improving student outcomes through software and data science, before its acquisition by LinkedIn in January 2018. Early career experiences included serving as a Research Assistant at Boston University, where Alp conducted significant research on metamaterials and authored multiple peer-reviewed publications during the pursuit of a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the same institution. Alp also holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Bilkent University.
