Joanna Kassis has a broad range of work experience in the medical field. Joanna began their career in 1998 as a Medical Representative at Johnson & Johnson. In 2003, they joined the Department of Veterans Affairs as a Clinical Pharmacist Ambulatory Care. From 2007 to 2011, they worked at the Lebanese American University as the Director of Experiential Education/ Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice, where they were responsible for the management of advanced clinical experiential education, the establishment, development, management and quality assurance of advanced practice sites, and the continuous assessment of students' learning outcomes and professional development and ethical conduct. Joanna also published a paper on Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs use among community pharmacy patients in Lebanon. From 2011 to 2022, they worked at Amgen in various roles, including Medical Information and Training Manager, GCC Scientific Communications Manager, and Medical Information Manager Amgen Middle East & North Africa. Currently, they are the Global Head Medical Information at F2G.
Joanna Kassis received their Doctorate in Pharmacy from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in 2003. Joanna had previously obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science/Medical Technology/Technologist from American University of Beirut in 1994. In 2011, they were certified by the Board of Pharmacy Specialties in Pharmacotherapy.
