António Damasceno has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. António started as an Instructor in the Software Engineering Distance Education Program at Carnegie Mellon University in 2013. In 2014, they became a Product Manager at ISA Energy, and later took on the role of Team Leader in Healthcare Software at ISA - Intelligent Sensing Anywhere. António also served as a Technologic Partnerships Manager, leading various projects and initiatives at ISA.

In 2015, António worked as an Acting CEO at ISA Intellicare, Inteligent Sensing in Healthcare Lda, and as a Product Manager at VPS - Virtual Power Solutions (Former ISA Energy). António then joined Instituto Pedro Nunes as a Project Manager in 2016.

António's work experience also includes being an Independent Expert at the AAL Programme in 2017, and an Invited Assistant Professor at Universidade de Coimbra starting in 2020. Currently, they are working as a Project Manager at F6S since 2019. António Damasceno has a diverse education history. António obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Computer Software Engineering from Universidade de Coimbra, starting in 2021. Prior to this, they pursued a Master of Software Engineering (MSE) degree at Carnegie Mellon University in 2009 and 2010. António also completed an MSE Master of Software Engineering degree at Universidade de Coimbra during the same time period. António began their academic journey with a Licentiate (Lic) degree in Informatics Engineering from Universidade de Coimbra, which they pursued from 1985 to 2006. Before their university studies, they attended Escola Secundária José Falcão from 1978 to 1984, although no degree or field of study is specified for this period.

In addition to their formal education, António Damasceno has obtained several certifications. In 2015, they completed the "New Venture Finance: Startup Funding for Entrepreneurs" course offered by the University of Maryland, College Park on Coursera, receiving a Coursera Verified Certificate.
