Maria Young

Maria Young has diverse work experience in the design industry. Maria worked as a Senior Product Developer/Designer at Faber-Castell USA, where they conducted market research and designed craft kits for children. Maria also freelanced as a Product & Graphic Designer, developing concepts into sellable craft kits and solving packaging challenges.

Prior to that, Maria worked as a Freelance Graphic Designer at Alternaterm Pregnancy Services and as an Art Director and Product Developer at Nicole Brayden Gifts. In these roles, they demonstrated strong organizational skills, provided design counsel, and successfully directed and motivated design teams.

Maria's earlier experience includes working as a Graphic Designer at Post-Up Stand, where they designed and produced tradeshow banners and tabletop displays for clients. Maria consistently met tight deadlines and achieved high levels of customer satisfaction.

Maria Young attended Ashland University from 2002 to 2006 and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree. Maria studied Commercial Art, Business Administration, and Studio Art during their time at the university. In 2004 to 2005, Maria also received a Certificate in Graphic Design from The Art Institutes. In 2017, they obtained the ASTRA Certified Play Expert certification from the American Specialty Toy Retailing Association (ASTRA).
