Sevgim Akcakil has a diverse work experience spanning from 2012 to 2022. Sevgim started their career at McDonald's, where they served as a Crew Trainer from July 2012 to January 2014. In 2014, Sevgim worked at Lincoln Electric as a Machine Assembly and later as an Industrial Design Intern for a brief period. In 2015, they served as a Production Assistant at Lincoln Electric.
Sevgim gained further experience in product development and design at Things Remembered, where they worked as a Product Development Coordinator from June 2017 to June 2018. Following that, they served as a Product Development Design Assistant from June 2018 to September 2021.
Additionally, Sevgim participated in a Collaborative Project with SCAD and Hewlett-Packard as a Student Designer from September 2016 to December 2016.
Most recently, Sevgim joined Faber-Castell USA in March 2022 as a Product Developer/Designer, where they are currently employed.
Sevgim Akcakil earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Industrial Design and Accessory Design from Savannah College of Art and Design, completing their studies between the years 2013 and 2017.
