Gene Nishimura

Gene Nishimura, CPA, has over 25 years of experience in tax management and advisory roles. Gene currently serves as the Director of Tax at FabFitFun since 2020. Previously, Gene worked as the Tax Director at J2 Global from 2011 to 2019, where they managed the preparation of income tax returns and sales tax for a multinational publicly traded organization. Prior to that, they held the position of Tax Manager at United Online from 2008 to 2011, overseeing tax compliance and financial statement disclosures. Gene also worked as a Tax Manager at Prager and Fenton from 2007 to 2008, supervising tax preparation and providing consulting services to clients. Additionally, they have experience as a Tax Manager at NMB (USA) Inc. from 2001 to 2007, focusing on income tax provision and compliance. Earlier in their career, Gene worked as a Senior Tax Analyst at Atlantic Richfield Company (ARCO) and as a Supervising Senior at KPMG, where they prepared tax returns and provisions for various industries.

Gene Nishimura, CPA possesses a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from California State University, Northridge. Prior to this, they attended Granada Hills High School. In addition, they are a Certified Public Accountant granted by the California Board of Accountancy.
