Shakeel M. Farooqui

Shakeel M. Farooqui is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the field of biochemistry and pharmacology. Currently serving as President of FabGennix International Inc. since 2000, Shakeel M. Farooqui is also the Director of Research and Development, focusing on enzyme-based in situ assay development. Prior to this, Shakeel M. Farooqui held the position of Director of R&D and Assistant Professor of Pharmacology at LSU Medical Center in Shreveport, LA from June 1994 to January 2000. Shakeel M. Farooqui earned a PhD in Biochemistry from the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research between 1978 and 1985, and holds both BSc and MSc degrees in Chemistry and Biochemistry from Aligarh Muslim University, obtained from 1972 to 1977. Early education was completed at Minto Circle, where a High School Diploma in Science and Liberal Arts was obtained from 1962 to 1971.
