Richie Bevan has a diverse work experience in various roles related to health, safety, and engineering. Richie started their career in 2004 as a CAD Engineer at Laser Process Fabrication Ltd, where they worked until 2009. After that, they worked as a Commercial Engineer at the same company from 2009 to 2011.

In 2011, Richie joined Jenks & Cattell Engineering Ltd as a Commercial Engineer before moving on to WEC Group Ltd as an External Sales Representative in 2012. The following year, they worked as a Commercial Engineer at GF LASER.

In 2013, Richie joined Fablink Group as a Commercial Engineer, where they estimated fabrication projects and handled NPI activities for Leyland trucks, Caterpillar, and Perkins. Richie then took on the role of Facilities & HSE Manager, overseeing the health and safety of around 200 employees across two sites. In 2016, they were promoted to Group Head Of HSE, responsible for ensuring compliance with health, safety, fire, and environmental legislation for 20 sites and over 750 employees. This role included conducting site audits and inspections, risk assessments, and accident investigations.

Throughout their career, Richie has demonstrated their expertise in health, safety, and engineering, along with their ability to lead teams and manage environmental aspects. Richie holds a DipSBP, DipNCRQ, GradIOSH, and AIEMA certification.

Richie Bevan completed their primary and secondary education at Norton Canes High School from 1996 to 2001. In terms of higher education, in 2017 and 2018, they pursued Level 6 Certificates in Personal Injury Liability & Absence Reduction as well as Applied Health and Safety at NCRQ National Compliance and Risk Qualifications. In 2016, they obtained a National General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety from NEBOSH.

Moving forward to 2022, Richie undertook various diploma and certificate programs in different fields. From 2022 to 2023, they pursued Level 7 Diplomas in Sustainable Business Practice at IEMA and participated in a Lead Auditor program focusing on ISO 14001 at the BSI Training Academy. Additionally, in the same time-frame, they completed a Lead Auditor program for ISO 45001 at the BSI Training Academy. Richie also attained a Certificate in Environmental Management from IEMA in 2022.
