Allister Chang

Co-Founder at Fabric Health

Allister Chang has been involved in a number of different roles since 2014. In 2021, Chang became a Co-Founder of Fabric Health, a Founder of Civic Suds, and an Elected Member of the D.C. State Board of Education (SBOE). In 2020, Chang was a Fellow at Halcyon and a Visiting Researcher at the UNESCO Institute for Lifelong Learning. In 2019, Chang was a Visiting Researcher at the Global Public Policy Institute (GPPi), a Fellow at Robert Bosch Stiftung, and a Fellow at Voqal. Lastly, in 2014, Chang was the Executive Director at Libraries Without Borders, where they led the creation and development of new library programs that won the Library of Congress International Literacy Award. Allister also re-imagined public library services with city, county, state, national, and international library systems, and established and managed new corporate and foundation partnerships.

Allister Chang attended Harvard Kennedy School for Public Policy, Tufts University for Theirtory, and the University of Oxford as a Full-Year Visiting Student in Theirtory.
