Devashish Chandra has worked in multiple roles in various organizations since 2012. In 2012, they worked as an Associate Developer at Oracle Financial Services Software, where they developed a common UI interface screen and the associated host services for Seed Data Maintenance. In the same year, they also worked as an Associate at Swaniti Initiative, where they provided on the ground support and knowledge insights to elected representatives. In 2016, they worked as a Project Associate at the International Innovation Corps, University of Chicago, where they designed implementation roadmaps for the government, piloted interventions, and ensured effective monitoring. In 2017, they worked as a Student Advisor at The Behavioural Insights Team. In 2018, they worked as a Consultant at VoteTripling.org, applying behavioral science to improve voter turnout, and as Careers Chair at the Behavioral Insights Student Group. Devashish also worked as a Directorate of Education at the OECD - OCDE, where they led market research analyzing EdTech products targeted to teachers and created a strategic action plan for the development of the OECD's online platform for professional development of teachers. Finally, in 2020, Devashish Chandra worked as a Growth Product Manager at The Fabulous.
Devashish Chandra completed a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Chemical Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani between 2008 and 2012. In 2016, they attended the University of Chicago Booth School of Business for Management Labs. From 2017 to 2019, they completed a Masters in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School, specializing in Public Policy Analysis, Education, Behavioral and Decision Science, and Empirical Methods. Additionally, they have obtained an NCFM- Financial Markets certification from the National Stock Exchange.
