Philipp Schepers

Philipp Schepers is a Senior Design Engineer at FACC AG since March 2018, where responsibilities include leading design projects for business jets and serving as a technical expert in 3D printing with an emphasis on aviation-approved processes and materials. Previously, Philipp completed a final thesis at Lufthansa Technik, focusing on reverse engineering the Turbine Engine Starter of the CFM 56 -5B/-5C engine, with a particular emphasis on fluid mechanics and CFD simulations. Additionally, an internship at Lufthansa Technik involved project management for R&D innovation projects related to aircraft components. Prior academic experience includes a student research project at Technische Universität Braunschweig, optimizing flight control systems. Philipp holds a Diplom in Aerospace Engineering from Technische Universität Braunschweig and studied at the University of Glasgow.
