Mike Rogers

Mike Rogers is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in research and technology development, currently serving as Chief Research Officer at FaceBank Group, Inc. since June 2021, following the acquisition of Image Metrics. In this role, Mike leads research and annotation teams, focusing on performance-driven animation and social AR. Previously, Mike held multiple positions at Image Metrics from 2006 to 2021, including Chief Research Officer, VP of Research, Director of Research, Senior Research Engineer, and Research Engineer, where significant achievements included transitioning technology to real-time consumer applications and developing innovative facial AR technology. Additionally, Mike has been a Technology Advisory Board Member at Faceware Technologies, Inc. since 2012, contributing to the technology strategy for the company's leading animation products. Academic credentials include a PhD in Computer Vision from The University of Manchester, where Mike also worked as a Research Associate.
