Shakur Nuri

Shakur Nuri has been working in the field since 2006, when they began their role as Counselor/METCO Coordinator at Needham High School. In 2016, they founded facefwd, a social media platform that allows users to share videos and get reactions from other users. Theirinspiration for creating facefwd was the belief that media should be experienced and shared, rather than passively posted.

Shakur Nuri attended Boston Latin School from 1992 to 1998. Shakur then went on to Boston University, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2002. In 2012, they returned to school and obtained a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Cambridge College in 2014.
