Cristian Bou Genovés has a diverse work experience that spans over several industries. Cristian began their career as a Responsable de logística at Distribuciones Joaquín Marín 2, S.L.U., where they were responsible for logistics, managing orders from suppliers, providing administrative support, customer service, and conducting marketing campaigns. Cristian also worked as a Practice Student in I+D+i at Aire Networks, where they developed dashboards for a Smart City application and was involved in research and design projects.

In 2016, Cristian joined everis as a Schoolar, gaining skills in Java Enterprise Edition (J2EE) and focusing on the backend development needs of the client OdigeO. Cristian then progressed to the role of Centers Junior - BackEnd Developer in Odigeo Project, where they developed automated functional tests for client tools using technologies like Java, REST, Maven, Cucumber, and Gherkins. Cristian also worked as a Centers Junior - Big Data Engineer, contributing to the migration from ETLs to DataWarehouse using technologies like Spark, Scala, HDFS, Hive, and Sqoop.

In 2018, Cristian joined Teralco Group as a Desarrollador Business Intelligence, where they worked on projects involving the development of a Cuadro de Mandos for a banking sector project, implementing dimensional databases.

From 2019 to 2020, Cristian worked at iNNova ASV as an Ingeniero de datos, creating a DataLake to store mobile device data, developing a backend based on Serverless technology for location data retrieval, and implementing a batch layer for user profiling.

Most recently, in 2020, Cristian joined FacePhi Biometría as a DevOps Engineer, contributing to the company's biometric solutions.

Throughout their career, Cristian has gained experience in various technologies and methodologies, including Agile, SCRUM, Kanban, and quality assurance practices.

Cristian Bou Genovés completed a degree in Audiovisual Engineering at Universitat d'Alacant from 2010 to 2019. In 2017, Cristian also attended the University of Deusto for a Big Data Technologies Program, specializing in Deusto Engineering. Additionally, they obtained several certifications, including "M001: MongoDB Basics" from MongoDB in August 2019, "Introducción a Big Data" from Coursera Course Certificates in October 2016, "Getting and Cleaning Data" from Coursera Course Certificates in August 2016, "R Programming" from Coursera Course Certificates in April 2016, "The Data Scientist’s Toolbox" from Coursera Course Certificates in February 2016, and "CCA Spark and Hadoop Developer Exam (CCA175)" from Cloudera in January 2018.
