Gabriel Martins Leal

Gabriel Martins Leal has worked in the software engineering field since 2017. In 2021, they began working as a Software Engineer at Facio, a salary advance and general financial services app. At Facio, they are responsible for understanding requirements, planning, architecting, implementing, and testing functionalities by using best practices. The product is developed on the cloud by using AWS and is completely serverless and microservice-based.

From 2018 to 2021, Gabriel worked as a Software Engineer at SAP. At SAP, they were a developer on Data Intelligence, a product for handling, transferring, analyzing, and predicting big data stored in different clouds and databases. Gabriel was also a developer on Vora, a distributed database with a scale-out approach. Gabriel developed the behavior of how SQL operations are executed in low level, SSL, security authentications, and RESTful APIs to connect the database to external resources.

In 2017, Gabriel worked as a Teaching Assistant at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul.

Gabriel Martins Leal completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Universidade Federal de Goiás in 2017. Gabriel then attended Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, where they obtained an MSc. in Computer Science - Computer Networks in 2019.
