Marcela Ortega Garcia

Marcela Ortega Garcia has worked in the technology field since 2008. Marcela began their career as an Undergraduate Research Fellow at the Universidade de São Paulo in 2008. In 2009, they became a Web Developer at DATA Group - IME-USP, where they developed a information system for clinical data and exams management and a collaborative system for HIV data analysis. In 2013, they joined Kekanto as a Web Developer, where they developed a full-text search system employed both in the web version and on the mobile apps, as well as the system for local business owners to promote their businesses through the online guide. In 2015, they joined UOL as a Systems Specialist, Senior Software Developer, and Software Developer. Marcela is currently a Technical Lead at Facio, a position they have held since 2019.

Marcela Ortega Garcia's education history includes a Technician degree from ETE Jorge Street in Computer from 2002 to 2003, a BS in Computer Science from USP - Universidade de São Paulo from 2006 to 2009, a Masters in Computer Science from USP - Universidade de São Paulo from 2010 to 2012, and a Master of Business Administration - MBA in Leadership, Innovation and Management 3.0 from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul since 2018.
