Avis Wright Mph, Ches

Avis Wright, MPH, CHES, is a seasoned public health professional with extensive experience in health education and capacity building. Currently serving as the Professional Learning Manager and Health Services Capacity Building Coordinator at Fact Forward since May 2017, Avis has previously held roles such as Health Education Coordinator at Gaston County Health Department, where responsibilities included establishing community partnerships, managing evidence-based programs, and evaluating their impact. Early career positions included roles as a Nutritional Consultant for the Black Women's Health Network and a Nutritionist for WIC clients at Gaston County Health Department. Avis holds a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Clemson University and two master's degrees: a Master of Public Health from Walden University and a Master’s in Foods, Nutrition, and Related Services from Clemson University.
