Jil Littlejohn was born and raised in inner city Atlanta, Georgia. She currently serves as the first female president and CEO of the Urban League of the Upstate She also serves on the City Council of Greenville, and has served as a member since 2009. In addition to her executive roles, Jil is a 2015 graduate of Municipal Association of South Carolina’s Municipal Elected Officials Institute. She has also been recognized as a Women Making History Honoree, Greenville Magazine Top 50 Influential People, Ebony Magazine Top Young Leader Under 30, Greenville Chamber of Commerce Young Professional of the Year Finalist, Greenville Link Magazine’s Top 50, and Greenville’s Best & Brightest Under 35. A member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Jil is also the founder of the Talented Tenth Greenville Leadership Conference.

act Forward was founded in 1994 to combat increasingly high rates of teen pregnancy in our state. Today, we are nationally recognized as a thought leader and innovator among teen pregnancy prevention organizations. The mission of Fact Forward is to improve the health and economic well-being of individuals, communities, and the state of South Carolina and beyond by preventing teen pregnancy and advancing adolescent reproductive health. To achieve its mission, Fact Forward works with a variety of programs - public, private, school and community-based - in all regions of the state.
