Katrina Reed is an experienced professional in the fields of public health and health communication. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Penn State University since April 2020, Katrina has also coordinated programs for SC Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy since 2012. Prior positions include Research Assistant at Clemson University (August 2015 - April 2020), Prevention Specialist at LRADAC (May 2014 - April 2020), Statistical and Research Analyst III at LRADAC (February 2013 - August 2013), and HIV Counselor at LRADAC (August 2011 - July 2012). Katrina holds a Master of Public Health degree from Walden University (2008 - 2010) and a Health Communication Certificate from the University of South Carolina (2013 - 2014), along with a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of South Carolina (2003 - 2006).

Today, we are nationally recognized as a thought leader and innovator among teen pregnancy prevention organizations. The mission of Fact Forward is to improve the health and economic well-being of individuals, communities, and the state of South Carolina and beyond by preventing teen pregnancy and advancing adolescent reproductive health. To achieve its mission, Fact Forward works with a variety of programs - public, private, school and community-based - in all regions of the state.
