Misty joined Fact Forward in October 2018 as the Finance Specialist. In this role, Misty works closely with grants to maintain and verify their financial records and to help clarify and resolve any issues with the grants. Prior to joining Fact Forward, Misty was the business manager of a wholesale distribution store for ten years. There she was responsible for planning and overseeing the financial health and operations of the business. Misty was born and raised in Blythewood, SC. She is a graduate of Columbia College and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.

act Forward was founded in 1994 to combat increasingly high rates of teen pregnancy in our state. Today, we are nationally recognized as a thought leader and innovator among teen pregnancy prevention organizations. The mission of Fact Forward is to improve the health and economic well-being of individuals, communities, and the state of South Carolina and beyond by preventing teen pregnancy and advancing adolescent reproductive health. To achieve its mission, Fact Forward works with a variety of programs - public, private, school and community-based - in all regions of the state.
