John Childs

John Childs (He/Him) has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. John is currently serving as the Managing Director at Factor_, a part of HelloFresh, since June 2021. Prior to their current role, they worked at HelloFresh in various positions, including VP - Ops and Digital from July 2020 to June 2021, Senior Director, New Ventures & Digital Product from October 2018 to July 2020, and Director, Strategy and Technology from August 2016 to September 2018. In this last role, they managed operations and technology teams at Green Chef brand and played a key role in the integration with HelloFresh after the acquisition. Before joining HelloFresh, they worked at The Honest Company as a Manager of Strategic Projects from June 2014 to August 2016. John also gained valuable experience in the McMaster-Carr Management Rotational Program from September 2012 to June 2014. Prior to that, they served as a US Army Officer from May 2007 to September 2012.

John Childs (He/Him) has a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and Arabic from the United States Military Academy at West Point, obtained in 2007. John also holds a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) from UCLA Anderson School of Management. In addition, John has obtained several certifications, including "Computational Thinking for Problem Solving" from Coursera in April 2020 and various Python-related certifications in 2018 and 2019.
